Podcasts I'm Digging Right Now
Wednesday, April 24, 2019
I am so late to the podcast game, but they are SUCH a life saver. I like to have something in my ear while I work, clean, shower. Music has always been my go-to, but lately I've been craving a little something more...and in walked podcasts into my life.
Music helps to set the mood, but when I'm at work podcasts are able to keep me hyper-focused on the task I'm currently diving into. Here are a few of the podcasts I've really been into lately!
Overdue
Overdue is a book podcast with the tagline "a podcast about the books you've been meaning to read." It's a really great way to freshen up on some of my favorite books or to introduce me to themes I may not have thought of on my first read-through. Andrew and Craig also have a great dynamic together without being overly ridiculous.
You're Wrong About...
I really wish Mike and Sarah would make some new You're Wrong About episodes because I love the way they dive deep into topics I've always heard of and teach me what the media left out. I never thought I would understand Anna Nicole Smith so much. There are currently 39 episodes, so it's pretty easy to get caught up.
Anna Faris is Unqualified
Anna Faris is a gem, so naturally so is Unqualified. She has some of the best guests and gives truly unqualified advice that comes from a good-hearted place.
True Crime Obsessed
Gillian and Patrick are more obsessed with documentaries, but True Crime Obsessed will make you laugh and lighten the mood. They watch all the documentaries I never wanted to, but wanted a summary of.
Crime Junkie
Be weird, be rude, stay alive. I love the way these girls come at the facts straight and with heart. As a warning, Crime Junkie will have you looking over your shoulder everywhere you go.
