Health and Fitness are important, not just physically, but mentally. As women, it's so easy to get wrapped up in the beauty aspect of health. To be "skinny" shouldn't be our focus. I don't know how we change that end goal, but our focus needs to shift to being healthy and removing bad habits.
Do I look at myself in the mirror and see fat? Absolutely. I could run down a list of my flaws and what should "look" better, but I'm working on changing that. I workout because I want to be able to run around with my future nephews and/or nieces. I want to travel when I retire and walk all over major cities. I don't want an excuse to not chase my dreams. Not everything is avoidable, of course, and I know that, but I can do my part to increase my odds.
To celebrate, I will be heading to the gym and pumping some iron but I also thought I'd share with you some of my favorite workouts. I like to try out Pinterest workouts and see if they really work. So, here are a few of my fave!
Arms
Yoga
Booty
*The link to this one was dead, so I linked to the original Pinterest pin.
Abs
What's your favorite workout? Do you like to zumba or take a dance class? Maybe you power walk (completely an underrated exercise) or are you superhuman and enjoy running? Hope you find a way to get out there and celebrate your fitness!
Lovely motivational post - I feel the difference so much both mentally and physically when I'm active.

If we just focused on the benefits instead of the appearance, women's fitness wouldn't be such a struggle! Thanks for stopping by :)
