Mystic
Mystic Seaport is magical...but tiny. Okay, I wasn't in love with the place. My shoes were broken and I was pretty mean to my boyfriend at the time because we had no other option than to walk around the town.
It was still beautiful. I loved the aquarium and because it was still early in the season, we were able to talk with the trainers about the seals and whales alone. We ate at Mystic Pizza, which I didn't appreciate at the time because I had yet to watch the movie. (Relax, I did afterwards!)
Visiting Mystic Seaport wasn't my only visit to Connecticut. I did fall for the state. The people are so kind and it's virtually impossible to walk through a park in any town within its borders without conversing with a few local citizens.
I miss Connecticut; I actually do.
I thought I snapped a few more shots up in Mystic, but these are all that I have on file. I definitely suggest visiting in early spring if you're not a fan of crowds!
